Quality Control Manager the Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho requiring maintaining the quality control plan, review of all submittals, acceptance of materials, inspection of work, preparatory meeting with trade contractor's reviewing the process and requirements of their portion of work, conduct progress meetings and provide daily reports to the Army Corps of Engineers.
Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) - Construction of a new base logistics building to incorporate several base departments.
Explosive Ordinance Disposal Building (EOD) - Remodel and addition of a building for the base EOD to occupy.
Demolition of several buildings that included asbestos needing abated prior to demolition.

Dining Facility - Upgrades to the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems with minor interior remodel. Asbestos abatement was conducted prior.
Lodging Building - Remodel from a dorm to a visitor's quarters along with upgrade to the mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems. Asbestos abetment was conducted as part of the project but prior to upgrade and remodel.
Midvale Rest Area - ITD
Teamed with Forsgren Associates, a site visit was conducted and the conditions assessment was reviewed. The option of demolishing the existing rest room building and building new over an addition was discussed and investigated. The decision was made to remove the existing rest room building and construct a new building. Other buildings constructed on the site include a volunteer enclosure and a maintenance/storage building. A covered structure for the caretaker's residence was also added.
The new restroom building is a traditional CMU building with wood trusses. Each area of the building was designed for daylight. The original design required the trusses in the vestibule area to be exposed.

The volunteer enclosure is CMU, open in the front with a shed roof sloping to the rear.
Office addition (project put on shelf until finded). A 1750 s.f. shop remodel/addition. The existing office is to be removed for the constrution of the new office.
Shop addition (project put on shelf until funded). A 2500 s.f. shop pre-engineered metal building addition for the maintenance and repair of water and well drilling trucks and equipment for the drill crew.
Seismic Upgrades - National Interagency Fire Center
Teamed with J.U.B. Engineers, surveys were conducted on three buildings at NIFC and documents prepared for seismic upgrades for building 110; Training, building 105C; Purchasing, building 215; Warehouse.
New Dorm Unit - DPW, Idaho Correctional Industries
The slaughterhouse from the agricultural portion of the correctional facilities had been closed since the early 70's. A survey was conducted on the existing building. Documents were created and the building was converted into a 100 bed dorm unit, with full kitchen facilities, to be used for inmates on work release.
116th Brigade CERP Team Overseeing the Reconstruction of Kirkuk Province, OIF III
While deployed to Iraq with the 116th Brigade from Idaho I was assigned to the Brigade Comander's Emergency Response Program (CERP) Team as a purchasing officer. I was responsible for reviewing, prioritizing and approving applications for construction projects. After approval, I forwarded the recommendation to division level for review and approval. After division approval I oversaw progress and dispersed payment. I was responsible for approximately 15 million dollars in construction projects. I had an additional duty of reviewing claims against the military in conjunction with the Judge Advocate General and dispersing agent.
